      受Prof. Krzysztof Matyjaszewski邀请,多模态辐射技术研究中心胡亮副教授及其合作者张强教授、Michael J. Serpe教授等在国际顶级期刊(Progress in Polymer Science, IF29.19)以“Stimuli-Responsive Polymers for Sensing and Reacting to Environmental Conditions”为题,发表文章。

      随着人工智能时代的到来,新技术要求我们将环境样本数据提交给AI系统后,系统能够作出特异性响应。在这样的背景下,环境刺激响应性聚合物由于其具有优异的响应性,引起学者的广泛关注。基于此,在本文,作者综述了刺激响应性聚合物及其通过物理和/或化学变化对外界环境变化的反应能力。首先描述了SRP的合成方法,进而讨论了SRP对外界条件的响应机制,最后重点介绍了它们在传感、生物传感和驱动方面的应用实例。本文旨在让读者熟悉SRP设计和应用的一些最新发展,希望鼓励大家在这一领域的进一步研究,以帮助克服当前的一些挑战,并激发这些材料的新的、具有创造性的应用。

 

摘要

As we enter the age of artificial intelligence (AI), new technologies will be needed to & ldquo;sample & rdquo; environmental conditions to provide data to AI systems that will yield a specific response. This review focuses on stimuli-responsive polymers (SRPs), and their ability to react to changes in external environmental conditions by undergoing a physical and/or chemical change. We first describe various methods for SRP synthesis, which leads into a discussion of the mechanism of SRPs response to external conditions, and finally we highlight examples of their use for sensing, biosensing, and actuation. The aim of this review is to familiarize readers with some of the most recent developments in SRP design and application, which we hope will encourage further research in this field that can help overcome some of the current challenges and inspire new and creative applications for these materials.
